Readable PDFs without a wall of text

Supported same-site PDFs open in the ADA Real document reader. Each prepared PDF page keeps its page image, followed by a prominent blue Click to read this PDF button. Text stays collapsed until requested; Hide PDF text collapses it again. Use PDF page navigation to move between prepared pages.

Original PDF access

The reader offers Open original PDF in a new tab. Disable ADA assistance returns to original website behavior for this browser, including the original PDF experience. Some external, protected, unusually large, or complex files may need the original viewer or another accessible version from the owner.

Image descriptions

Meaningful alternative text helps describe images and linked destinations. Image tooltips are off by default and can be enabled by a visitor. Available image-text extraction helps with supported text inside images; do not assume every photograph or scan will produce complete or accurate text.

Check important content

Some documents have reviewed structured text, while others use automatic extraction. Scanned pages, handwriting, low resolution, tables, and complex reading order can affect accuracy. Confirm important details with the website owner and maintain accessible source documents.

Report a problem

Send the page address, PDF or image link, device/browser, the action taken, and visible error. Do not include private form values or confidential document contents in a general support message.
