Understand your seven-day Managed trial
Card verification, the first scheduled charge, reminders, and cancellation explained.
What happens today
An eligible Managed trial lasts seven days. A card is verified and saved through Stripe, but no subscription funds are collected at trial signup. Your bank may show a temporary verification authorization. This is different from a captured subscription charge. The screen shows $0 due today and the recurring price that applies after the trial.
What you authorize
Before starting, you explicitly accept the recurring amount and monthly or yearly interval shown in checkout. Stripe will automatically charge that amount after the trial unless you cancel beforehand. The confirmation and zero-dollar PDF show the exact trial dates, scheduled first charge, price, and cancellation instructions. Use those dates rather than guessing from when an email arrives.
What you can use
A confirmed card-backed trial activates the features included with its Managed plan during the trial period. A saved signup or unfinished payment does not activate access. Follow the installation guide, confirm visitor tools on the public website, and begin organizing your accessibility work.
Emails to expect
- Congratulations/welcome and a zero-dollar trial invoice PDF when ADAR verifies the trial.
- A reminder before the trial ends.
- An invoice PDF following each successful real charge.
Cancel before the first charge
- Open your ADA Real dashboard.
- Find the correct website and select Manage plan.
- Open the billing management controls and complete cancellation before the trial ends.
- Read the displayed cancellation status and keep its confirmation.
Eligibility and exceptions
The trial is limited to one per account and website and cannot be combined with coupons or audit credit. Signing up again with another email does not create a new website trial. If you think an eligibility decision is wrong, contact the team rather than creating duplicate accounts or checkouts.
