Watch: download, install, and connect ADA Real
Three short captioned videos show the customer journey from the dashboard download to WordPress activation and a public-site check.
1 — Download from your dashboard
Sign in, open My ADA Home, find the correct website, and select Download ADA. An active subscription, eligible trial, or included plan is required. Keep the downloaded ZIP intact. If Download ADA is missing, ask ADAR to review the existing website status rather than purchasing again.
2 — Install in your website’s WordPress admin
Open the website’s own WordPress admin, then Plugins → Add Plugin (or Add New Plugin) → Upload Plugin. Choose the client ZIP, select Install Now, and then Activate Plugin. If updating an existing client, replace only the intended ADA Real Client when instructed. Avoid duplicate installations.
3 — Confirm the connection
Open Settings → ADA Real and read the connection status. Follow the supplied website-specific instructions. Then open a fresh public page and test Accessibility. Return to the ADAR website table to review the connection separately from the payment status.
How these videos are presented
These are illustrated example screens with accurate customer-facing labels, not recordings of real customer accounts. The example domain is example.com. Each video has English captions and a complete text transcript; there is no narration audio. Screen styling can vary by WordPress version, theme, or account. No credentials or private installation settings are shown.
Screenshots and guided walkthroughs
These materials use the public demonstration or a safe admin preview. Sample details, screen layouts, and displayed prices can differ from your own account. Your live checkout quote and confirmation control your subscription.

1. Sign in to ADA Real
Sign in to ADA Real. Open My ADA Home and find the exact website you want to connect.
2. Check service activation
The website must have a confirmed active subscription, trial, or included plan. A saved signup alone does not unlock the client download.
3. Select Download ADA
In the website row, select Download ADA. On a small screen, scroll the table sideways to reach the Actions column.
4. Keep the downloaded ZIP
Save the client ZIP. It may be named ADA-Bulletproof-Client.zip; WordPress identifies the plugin as ADA Real Client. Do not unzip it.
5. Continue in your website admin
Now open that website’s own WordPress administration area. You will upload the client there, not in the ADA Real dashboard.

1. Before installation
Start with the client ZIP downloaded for this website. You need permission to install plugins in its WordPress admin. Follow your normal backup process.
2. Plugins > Add Plugin > Upload Plugin
In your website admin, open Plugins, then Add Plugin or Add New Plugin. Select Upload Plugin at the top.
3. Choose the client ZIP
Select Choose File and choose the downloaded client ZIP. Keep the file zipped. Do not use the ADAR platform package or another website’s package.
4. Select Install Now
Check the selected file, then select Install Now. Wait for WordPress to finish. If this is an update, replace only the existing ADA Real Client when instructed.
5. Select Activate Plugin
When WordPress says the plugin installed successfully, select Activate Plugin. Do not install a second copy or add a duplicate snippet.
6. Review Settings > ADA Real
Open Settings, then ADA Real. Review the connection status and follow your website-specific instructions. Never publish private installation settings.

1. Check Settings > ADA Real
After activation, open Settings, then ADA Real. Look for the connection status. If needed, use Retry connection once and read the resulting message.
2. Open your public website
Open the public website in a fresh tab. Wait for Accessibility to finish loading, then open it. Check that you can use the controls and return to the original page.
3. Review the dashboard connection
Return to My ADA Home and review the website connection. Payment and connection are separate: an active plan can still need installation.
4. Test and ask for help
Test your important pages, forms, documents, and shopping journeys. Report unresolved barriers with the page and visible error. Do not pay again to fix a connection problem.
